Emails That Do Not Overlap

This lesson takes 8 minutes.

LastPsyOp: Read the Full Brief

Objectives

  • Give home, daily, and high-risk email their own separate recovery details
  • Say which email address a store keypad is allowed to see

Lesson

Two money layers fall apart if their email overlaps. Each layer needs its own email address, its own recovery phone number, and its own usernames. If the inbox for your surface set can reset the password on your home bank, you do not have two layers.

Email providers that let you run several accounts, such as Proton, Google, and others, make this cheap to set up. That is not a recommendation of any brand.

The provider does not matter. What matters is that no two layers share a way to recover the account.

High-risk email is the address you type into store keypads, loyalty signups, public Wi-Fi sign-in pages, one-time merchants, and contest forms. Treat it as disposable. It never touches the home bank.

Home email is for the bank, the credit union, and the card that stays home. It never appears on a store screen.

Daily email is for the people you write to. That makes three jobs and three inboxes.
